Normal & Expected:
Mild swelling, redness, or pinpoint bumps at injection sites for 1–2 hours.
Minor bruising that fades within a week.
Gradual onset of results over 2-3 weeks.
Slight headache for up to 24 hours after treatment.
Contact Us If You Experience:
Difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing.
Severe headache, blurred vision, or muscle weakness.
Asymmetry or drooping that worsens over time.
Pre-Care Instructions:
To prepare for your neurotoxin treatment and minimize potential side effects:
Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and other blood-thinning agents for 3–5 days prior (unless medically necessary).
Inform your provider of any recent illnesses, medications, or neurological conditions.
Do not schedule your treatment within 2 weeks of a major event (wedding, photoshoot, etc.) in case of bruising.
Come with a clean face—no makeup or skincare products in the treatment area.
Let us know if this is your first time receiving treatment or if you’ve had any past issues with neurotoxins.
Post-Care Instructions:
After your Botox or Dysport treatment, follow these steps for best results:
Do not rub, touch, or apply pressure to treated areas for at least 4 hours.
Stay upright for 4 hours after treatment.
Avoid strenuous exercise, facials, saunas, or heat exposure for 24 hours.
Do not apply makeup for at least 4 hours unless approved by your provider.
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for 24 hours.
Results develop gradually over 3–7 days, with full effects in up to 14 days.
A follow-up appointment may be scheduled for touch-up or assessment.
Mild redness or bumps at the injection site may occur and typically resolve within an hour. Bruising is possible and usually fades within a few days.
