  • Disclose any history of cold sores; you may be prescribed antiviral medication.

Post-Care Instructions:

Sculptra works gradually by stimulating collagen production. You may experience swelling, redness, or bruising after treatment. For best results:

  • Massage the treated areas for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days—this helps ensure even distribution.

  • Apply cold compresses to reduce swelling (10 minutes on, 10 minutes off).

  • Avoid alcohol, strenuous exercise, heat, and saunas for 24 hours.

  • Refrain from makeup for at least 24 hours or until redness subsides.

  • Sleep with your head elevated the first night to minimize swelling.

Results develop gradually over 4–8 weeks, and a series of treatments may be recommended for full correction. Your provider will guide your plan based on your unique goals and facial anatomy.
